Your Committee hard at work

                        Here's what's happening

On Friday evening, June 12th, 2009 we are hosting a reunion for all 1959 Kitsilano High School Grads, their wives, husbands and significant others at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, 3811 Point Grey Road, Vancouver. We have arranged a reception style event starting at 6:30 p.m. which includes great hors d'oeuvres. A cash bar will be set up to serve both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. There will be a couple of "guest appearances" and some other surprises for your enjoyment.  Included in your admission charge is an updated copy of the 1959 Haida Annual (see below).  There is parking at the RVYC in the visitors area, or along  Point Grey Road.

On Saturday, June 13, 2009 a Vancouver Harbour Dinner Cruise has been booked for all Grads, their wives, husbands and significant others. Do you remember all those great booze cruises we used to go on? Well this one will be a little more refined. A sumptuous buffet dinner will be served while we cruise Vancouver's scenic harbour.  There will also be a cash bar for alcoholic drinks. We are booked on the "Pride of Vancouver" at 6:30 p.m. sailing from The Plaza of Nations Marina"  promptly at 7:00 p.m., for a three hour cruise in Vancouver Harbour.  Even if the weather is inclement we will be nice and cozy in the beautiful enclosed salons

                                1959 Haida Annual reprint

As part of the celebrations, the Committee  decided to reprint an updated version of the Haida '59 Annual For those of you who have submitted a pic and/or a bio, this will include your original grad picture, along with a new photo and a current update.  It will be fun to be immortalized in print for future generations of your families and friends to see, not to mention the fun of seeing what all your old buddies look like now and what they have been up to in 50 years.  There will be additional copies of Haida 09 available for purchase at a nominal amount.
